Lounge Manager/ The Bungalow Huntington Beach

Highly popular bar and lounge is looking for a manager. You will be in charge of driving revenue and excellent service.  Candidates will have experience working at busy bars, lounges or nightclubs.

Duties are listed below ( but not limited to ). 

Oversee, direct and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, cost, employee retention and development, guest service and satisfaction, beverage and food quality and overall cleanliness and maintenance of the venue. Protect the integrity of the business by insuring we comply at all times with labor laws as well as health code.

• Ensure the safety of our guests by monitoring consumption, hence protecting the integrity of our liquor license and entertainment permit
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with strong ethic in compliance with labor law and handbook
• Ensure that all  policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
• Complete project on time and communicate clearly in regard to progress.
• Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food and beverage preparation and serving as well as venue maintenance.
• Schedule staff according to forecast, anticipating business needs and revenue.
• Count money and make bank deposits.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding quality, service, or accommodations. Report to GM.
• Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit staff.
• Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs and coordinate a variety of services.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
• Monitor employee and guest activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed.
• Recommend measures to improve work procedures and employee performance.
• Ensure that menus are correctly printed and available, and items correctly entered in the POS system
