High-Volume Food Runner/Bar Busser

Job Overview:
The Bungalow LB is looking for a dedicated and energetic High-Volume Bar Busser to join our team. This role is essential to the overall guest experience, ensuring that the bar area remains clean, organized, and ready for action in our fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere. As a High-Volume Bar Busser at The Bungalow HB, you will work alongside our bartenders, servers, and other team members to provide top-notch service in one of Huntington Beach’s premier venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the bar area, tables, and surrounding areas are consistently clean, including clearing glasses, bottles, and debris.
Support Serving Staff: Assist servers by restocking supplies such as glassware, napkins, straws, and liquor mixers. Provide prompt and efficient service during peak hours.
Efficient Table Service: Quickly clear empty glasses, and bottles from tables ensuring a clean and inviting space for guests.
Replenish Supplies: Regularly check and restock supplies in the bar and guest areas to ensure that servers can work without interruption.
Guest Interaction: Assist guests with any special requests or concerns, always maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor to enhance the guest experience.
Set Up and Breakdown: Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after shifts, ensuring all stations are ready for service.
Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Team Collaboration: Work with fellow team members to keep the bar running smoothly and assist with any tasks that may arise during busy periods.
Qualifications:
Experience: Prior experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. We will provide on-the-job training.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
